Sometimes a good post is lost among the others. Current issues (eg, Wallabies) tend to take over. Also, many of the broad points you mention have beed discussed elsewhere on this site.

Another example, I thought my alltime Wallaby XV article would attract plenty of hits, but not so. Your article is thoughtful, & requiring a thoughtful reply. Alas, at the moment it is too in-depth a task.
