Your stat about six-hitting is incorrect. Bradman hit more than 1 six in his Test career. He hit two during his innings of 304. Cricinfo's stats have it that he hit 6 in total in his career.

Dear Mr Zavos,
You posed the question:- Why haven't other batsmen tried to imitate the Bradman method?
When asked this question Don Bradman answered as follows:- " I think it's because they are coached not to do it. It's a different technique."

Yours Sincerely
Tony Shillinglaw

Born just ten years earlier than Don Bradman, Walter Lindrum was the greatest billiards champion
the world had ever seen. He held fifty seven world records none of which have ever been broken.
The rules of billiards were changed to combat Lindrums domination of the game. I suspect Bradman
would have been as in awe of Lindrum , as no doubt Lindrum would have been in awe of Bradman.

If both men were still alive today, with hindsight both men might be happy recognising the other to be
Australias greatest ever sportsman.
