An interesting quote from the SMH: “Fallen AFL star Ben Cousins may have won over Sydneysiders with an uncharacteristic dose of humility and a quick sense of humour yesterday”
Maybe he’s going to find that Sydney is just the spot for him. Could the Swans find a spot for a bargain buy for 2 or 3 years should he wanting to make a comeback?
And the following: “What Sydney saw as courage, Melbourne saw as grandstanding.”
Even on an AFL related issue, the cynical and negative Melbourne media just goes on and on. It annoys me and makes me laugh when soccer fans complain about an article once every three months by journalists who are normally bagging the AFL but changed their aim just for one day.

Yeah well maybe they have a better class of dealers in Sydney, and besides that I think he could go out and not be known,it also helps and its not that far to Cabmaratta

I am sure that I read somewhere that the Swans have a “no dickheads” policy. How would Cousins fit into that sort of structure.

Jeez Chris, it’s a loose policy if it let Barry Hall and Peter Everitt through. I reckon he’d fit right in.
