Roar tipping comp now live
Good news - The Roar’s tipping competition is now live and ready for you to join. The first comp we have live is Super 14 rugby (but more will be coming very shortly). The Super 14 starts this Friday 15th…so get cracking!
To get started, create an account here.
You can then select the comps you want to join as they come online.
And as it’s all about competing against your mates, we encourage you to invite as many of your friends as you want. Heck…invite the whole office!
You can invite them from within the comp itself, or you can send a separate email inviting them to register for the comp at www.theroar.com.au/tipping
(All of our comps are free - and we’ll have great prizes being announced shortly).
If you experience any problems, please leave a comment below and we’ll aim to address it.

I have just checked the results. Some are on 8 points and a whole group on 7 points.
Can you explain how the powerplay works. I would have thought that picking the whole round would give you a bonus point……

Hi Dan,
Fair question. The powerplay works as follows:
- Each round you must select a Powerplay - this is a match which you’re most confident of who’ll win
- If you get the result correct for that match, you’ll earn double the points for that match (2 points)
There’s no bonus for getting all responses correct in a round.
Hope this helps.
