It’s great to see the Swan’s Adam Goodes in fine form again.
There are enormous expectations placed upon him and I love the fact that he keeps a cool head and just focuses on trying to play good football.
He is my favourite Swan for many reasons and I wish him continued good form for the season. Go Goodesy go!
So, the Cats were nearly toppled. Great game Freo, but it’s the stuff that champions are made of that won the day.

Hopefully the Swans play some good football now that he is back in form then.

Sorry Maggie but Goodes has a habit of losing his head when times are tough, not in a violent manner but he gets stroppy and indulges in selfish play. And forgetmenot you could be waiting some time, the Swans are back to their worst – dreadful, mind-numbingly boring tactics designed to grind the opposition and all watching fans down. They tick all the boxes for courage, team spirit, selflessness (usually), and talent but you could never, ever accuse them of playing good football, their style is a blight on the game.

Mark you are a disgrace. The type of football the swans lay may seem boring but they play a smart brand of footy as well. They lock the opposition down and make the most of the clearances they get and when they play at their best, (which is when there on top in a game) they are one of the most attractive teams to watch in the comp. The frustrating thing is that the team has more than enough talent and skill having a duel brownlow medalist in Adam Goodes,a premier full- forward (when fit) in Barry Hall, and perhaps the most toughest and courageous player in Brett kirk and add to that several other All-Australians, so I don’t understand with that sort of talent, experience and hard bodies in the side why they don’t play like Geelong, because they tick all the boxes in terms of their structure to play an attacking game plan.

So even though I’m ‘a disgrace’ you can’t understand why the Bloods can’t play a more attacking brand of football? I think you’ve just accidentally agreed with me. I have nothing but admiration for Sydney – their coach, their players, their team ethic, the whole lot. But I absolutely hate watching them play.
