Fevola seals the deal the council could not

A red faced local council must be thinking of hiring Brendan Fevola as their new PR man this week after the erratic Carlton spearhead finished what they could not – shutting down the Bulldogs.
For all their huff and puff, the councillors were rendered toothless by a Brumby intervention that saved a proud club from red tape ruin, but there was no get-out clause for the Bulldogs last night as they surrended a 37 point early third quarter lead.
Fevola the star with four last quarter goals, was well supported by skipper Judd in his 150th game, racking up 33 touches in a near best on ground display.
The continued emergence of Byrce Gibbs and Marc Murphy, and a four goal cameo from 100 game no-namer Simon Wiggins all contributed to a remarkable win that had tipsters scratching their heads once again.
Carlton still face an uphill battle to make the eight, and the Dogs remain in third, but Rocket Eade and his dogs would sooner attend the Maribyrnong Councillors christmas party than host Carlton again.

Jim Beam Devil's Cut
As bourbon ages, a portion of liquid is lost from the barrel due to evaporation. This is known as the Angel's Share. When the bourbon is taken from the barrel, a certain amount is left trapped within the wood. It's that extracted liquid, and the rich flavours from deep within the barrel that are in Jim Beam's Devil's Cut.
