Peter, all 3N teams, or at least the media, can be accused of overt over-reactions regarding their teams results. One week SA were woeful, they beat NZ and all is right in the world. They lose to Australia who then beat NZ and Australia are greats – Deans is a Messiah etc. NZ are on the cusp of implosion apparently, they then beat Australia and the Australian resurgance is built on foundations of marshmallow etc. Whatever next?

Inky, normally you write well balanced reviews. Not this time. Richie McCaw was the difference, without him there is no aura.

More people were watching Valerie Vili win gold in the shotput, which to be honest was a far greater accomplishment than winning at Newlands.

Brisbane, now that will be a cracker.

I was embarrassed reading inky have his wet dream over the AB’s, he was really enjoying himself.

A bit OTT IMO.

How can teams go from being the worst to the best, matching teams from the golden age, in a few matches.

Needs a reality check in both cases.

AB’s were not that bad when they lost 2 in a row, and now winning these 2 do not make them invincible or restore ‘that’ aura.

Come on Inky, we’ver heard the invincibility stuff before. You can remember when rugby was amateur, but you can’t remember the results in Dunedin & Sydney in the last few weeks!
For mine, the AB’s defence was fantastic. They made some really critical tackles on their own line. And, Goddard seemed to listen to McCaw, but treated Matfield like a whinging schoolboy.
