Thankfully he is also free of Nadal's wedgie habit - which amusing yet slightly disturbing... Federer was most successful when he was working with Roche, even if their working relationship wasn't ideal, and with or without a coach he hasn't been able to work out Nadal. He's still working with a coach before each Grand Slam and his GS performances have been far superior to his tour performances this year. Even Federer needs a coach. I don’t think too many tennis fans would agree with you there Spiro.

He's not a player who has things dictated to him and the thinking done for him by a coach.
