I agree Jerry, O’Connor looks the goods. But has haircut (combo of Matt Giteau and Drew Mitchell’s mum) and accent to suggest better off in Wallers.

O’Connor’s the only one of those guys I’d really rate, and he’s the most Australian of any of them by my reckoning.

NZ’s happy to select players who came here as kids or teenagers, so it’s a bit lame for anyone to complain about Aus selecting eligible players who’ve grown up or been developed there. The only one of those guys who could be viewed as bieng even halfway towards a poach is Kepu and he was born there (does anyone know when he moved to NZ?).

This article is taking a few liberties descibing O’Connor, Kepu and Cooper as “potential” All Blacks.

O’Connor has some promise, but I dont think Kepu would have got a look in for the All Blacks, and as long as Dan Carter is alive, Cooper will never wear the no 10 in black,

Next thing you know, Ezra Taylor the Highlanders signing for the Reds is going to be touted as a potenail All Black who plays for the Wallabies!!
