The regard in which he is held really showed through when the other Manly players raced in to congratulate him. Steve Menzies has been surely one of the most professional rugby league players during the last 100 years and a seriously good bloke to boot. His weekly poker games at home might be sorely missed by the Sea Eagles next year. It was good to see Beaver bow out with a try.
