Will this party ever end? The triumphant Manly NRL side took it to the streets today as they emerged from the beachside penthouse party bunker to share their premiership celebrations with the fans.

The fans didn’t seem to mind the two-day wait, thousands lining the streets of Manly to cheer on their parading heroes, festivities eventually spilling onto Brookvale Oval for a civic reception.
While few of the fans would have needed reminding of Sunday’s record breaking winning margin, there was rarely a break between chants of `40-0, 40-0′.
When there was it was “Eagle Rock” blaring through the speakers, silence finally dawning as the players got up to speak one by one to the crowd of about 3000 fans.
The silence was out of necessity rather than courtesy, with the fourth day of partying taking it’s toll on some husky voices, while dark shades were all the go hiding some bleary eyes.
There were no husky voices in the crowd though – especially when it came to Steve Menzies’ turn up on stage.
The `Beaver’ undoubtedly got the loudest cheer, while Brent Kite could be in in some trouble at tomorrow’s medicals for the Australian World Cup team, the Clive Churchill medallist sure to have suffered some form of RSI injury as a result of a seemingly unending flow of signature requests.
Not that he or his teammates seemed to mind – the players posing for hundreds of photos before it was back to the party bunker.
The celebrations continue.
