I used to way back when there was a variety of cars racing. I am unable to tell the difference between Holden and Ford, unless the cars have the name either Holden or Ford in large type plastered across the top of the windscreen. The advertising on most vehichles is a dogs breakfast designed by the same people that design strips for NRL teams.Most cars look identical in much the same way the NRL grand final teams Manly and Melbourne appeared almost identical to television viewers .Pity the casual observer.One team in maroon and white played another team in maroon and white. White tops maroon shorts vs maroon tops white shorts.The large white numbers on the back of Manlys maroon tops further confused viewers. Back to Bathhurst, I watched the first lap and the last four.According to mates at my local, seems like I didnt miss very much. A car with FORD on the windscreen beat a car with HOLDEN on the windscreen. There must be a huge future in V8 motor cars now petrol is only $7 a gallon. I cannot watch the race.
