whats all the fuss about we…er St George illawarra allways beat the Broncos remember that in rd2 when we knock em off again.

Crazy Dave, the Dragons players were allowed to lie on the Broncos players longer because the Broncos kept surrendering in tackles. Have another look mate and note the number of ‘surrender’calls when Broncos players are tackled.

Coulda woulda shoulda lads.

When it comes to knock ons and the like, the refs are told to penalize the mistake unless they are 100% sure it went backward.

gotta agree with crazy dave even though i am not a supporter of either teams. dragons were lying all over the tackled player and not getting penalized all night. it was so blatant at times i felt sorry for the broncos they had no chance as they were made to roll off the dragons layers like touch footy.
disallowed try probably was a turning point in the game but the dragons were relentless in defence.

It would be churlish for any sports observer not to recognise Big Dell’s effort. He repaid his mentor Bennett in spades.
bennet grows on me . He is very good coach and mentor.
I had a beer a few actually with some mates and again enjoyed a rollicking good game. It was more than close scores it is an attitude or style of play the Broncos adopt. great lateral movement.

Last week the broncos had a team which took apart the warriors. Why change a winning team.? Henjack has got plenty to think about now that the master has giving him a good hiding.. Hodges had a good game, he looked devistated at the end of the match. Darius Boyd had a blinder, good to see wayne stopped him from going backwoods after last week. Credit deserved to the dragons.

Henjak might not want to say it, but that doesn’t stop us fans. He is just being politic cause he has to, cause the NRL doesn’t let coaches criticise Referee’s actions.

If one of the Refs had been wearing their glasses, they would have seen a ball that was thrown backwards, bounced upwards, caught cleanly and planted ingoal cleanly. Try. The whole complexion of the game would have been changed, and the Broncos would have beaten the Dragons.

Sure, the Broncos were a bit flat, sure some of the backline were a bit crook. But it was from that moment (the disallowed try) that the Broncos started to flag and that the Dragons started to take control.

You’ve also got to look at the fact that the Dragons were lying all over the tackled player all night, yet it was the Broncos who got penalised for doing so.
