		<description>Well, so the confed cup has come and gone.   The primary objective for us was to test the systems in place for FIFA 2010 and to see where improvement has to be made.  In this regard, the tournament was a resounding success.   The areas of concern is now known, and we can now institute programmes of rectification.   From a footballing perspective, well done to Team USA for reaching the final and coming so close to causing what would have been a major upset in world football.  Be that as it may, this Team USA is destined for greater things.    As far as Brazil is concerned, their pedigree speaks for itself.  However the smaller nations have served notice of its intent to compete effectively next year.   My own choice for player of the tournament was Tim Howard, but, then Kaka is Kaka and that is that.
