Cronulla and St George as a single entity won 11 straight premierships until they were spit in 67. Both clubs struggled after the 67 split, Cronulla to establish itself supporterwise and finanially in the shadow of St George and St George due to the fact that it lost most of its juniors when Cronulla was formed. Net result the unbeatable St George/ Sutherland Shire juggernaut was derailed and the other clubs got a chance. I see Cronulla as overachievers actually overrall in the context of their resources and St George primarily as an Illawarra side now, especially in regards to juniors. If you put StGeorge Illawarra and Cronulla back together they would again be unbeatable anyway.

>>>The biggest underachiever in the NRL would be St George.

Did someone delete Cronulla's wikipedia article?

What about Souths, who haven't won a title since 1971. Which, if you didn't notice, is a longer time than St George.
