Wow… whoever wrote this is very harsh…. I bet they know nothing about NRL. Stick to other things and leave the reviews to the professionals.

Okay, okay I’ll take the bait! This side beat the top four — including a 56-nil thrashing of Brisbane while fielding FIVE of their Under 20s, including Josh Dugan, the fullback who made more metres [per game than anyone in the comp…including Bill Slater and Jarrod Hayne…yet they’ll never be competitive again?

You clearly “didn’t watch enough”

PS: Pretty accurate summation of the rest, though.

Which shows what a rubbish measure of a coach that is. If you first and foremost measure coaches by premierships then you’re telling me Wayne Bennet did as good a job this year as Brad Fittler.

In fairness to Sheens, Bennet is the only (current) coach in the NRL to have won more titles.

I’d forgive Sheens a lot because the Tigers have probably been the best team to watch the last few years, but then I’m not a Tigers fan.

As a Tigers fan, I still rate Sheens. But keep in mind who we had as coaches before him ….

“Only as good as your cattle” works as a defence for Robbie Deans, so I’ll use it for Sheens. We had a LOT of luck in 2005 to win it, I’ll admit. But we won it.

The team has tended to be a few stars that sometimes underperform, ior get injured, and quite a few workmanlike players. Head to head against most “top” teams, e.g. Storm or Dragons, and we should get smacked every time. But we still take some scalps.

Good to see you invoking the spirit of Ron Casey and taking no prisoners, Beardan, but what did you mean by Penrith “typical of the area they come from”? If the area is like the football team, then one minute it is busy and the next the streets are empty. Having a go at the nightlife?

Manly came 5th and got rolled by the team that was in 4th. How is that the fault of the McIntyre system?

Agree with you about Sheens. He must have some photos of the tigers board somewhere!
