If he was in form, he would not have had it torn up. Simple Ben Cousins/Todd Carney syndrome (note: I am aware they eventually had their contracts torn up! – but at that time, there was considerable public (sponsorship/members) pressure to do so).

There was no external pressure on the ARU, because noone knows what it is that he got up to.

we already know that Lote had his contract torn up because ARU regetted signing him up on such a lucrative contract when he was getting over the hill, they were looking for an excuse to kick him out and free up some money.

Whatever Leicester Tigers paid for him it was too much!

Giteau is obviously very tight with Lote and would have been disappointed with the ARU’s handling of Lote’s case. This goes along way to explaining Git’s current form.

Git’s went out with a bang at the Force cos he didn’t want the fans to think he was sooking over not getting his 3rd party money.

We need some similar motivation for him at test level now!

I think this is probably a better outcome for Lote than if he had gone back to the NRL with the West tigers.
