Western Sydney will have to be careful. Marketing is important but the best marketing in Sydney will be a winning team. In Melbourne , extremely infertile ground for Rugby league, the Storm has made some impact purely on the basis of continued excellence and competitiveness. Without that the project would be dead. Sheedy and a couple of Rugby converts will make an initial splash – but survival will depend upon canny choices of young draftees , top class modern coaching, and results.
