About two months ago I predicted that Hearts will go for a red and white kit,and that's precisely what has happened:

Ben, as I said on Tony Tannous' column yesterday, I got 0 from 6 in my Roar A-League tips this round. I'll happily have predictability back, thanks...

I don't think people in newcastle and on the Central Coast would accept supporting ateam that was basically a feeder team for Sydney.

I already resented SFC getting Aloisi, Brosque, Brokie and Bridges.

But this week really threw a fly in the ointment. All week was talk of a 2 horse race and then they both lost...

Oh well hopefully they still make the grand final, would be one hell of a matchup.

midfielder,

I have been thinking that, i was even thinking of going to the game the other night, then i would have really thought that maybe there was a jinx! I will have to go to the witchdoctor in Africa with John Safran to rid myself of it!!!

Ben,

Whilst i agree that the unpredictability of the A-league is good, the salary cap keeps things even across the board and there is no reason to change things, i disagree that this is attractive to fans. I am a Melbourne Victory supporter, but live over 3 hours from Melbourne. On the occasions that i have managed to get to a game, Melbourne has lost every game at home i have been too, the latest being the 2-0 defeat to Central Coast in the first game of the year. Call this bad luck, call it what you like, but to some fans, especially not the die-hards, you may second think a trip to watch your home team when they continually lose.

Brisbane are hopeless at home, Melbourne have only won only 2 games out of 8 at thome this year, despite the best support in the league, the list could go on (Wellington is the only team to buck this trend it seems but still mostly only draw at home). Is this unpredictability caused by.....? I don't know, but i honestly believe that until teams start winning at home more consistently than bigger crowds will be slower to build.

Agree with your tho's ...... It also allows for regional areas to have teams meaning people in those areas I think feel they are part Australia in a manner they cannot by sending off the odd player to a city team.
