Who, precisely, is trying to use it as an excuse??? I thought it was a disgrace but that doesn’t mean I am trying to use it as an excuse for the boks losing. The boks were beaten by a better side on the night.

‘Whoever chose it I suspect there was obviously a loophole in the choosing of it and the French pounced on it marvellously. Like this other guy mentioned just like the subtle darkening of their jersey’s in the 2007 world cup so that the All Black should play in grey to ‘distract’ them.

But well done winning the game really.
French rugby has definitely took top spot from England now as the team I (and many others) dislike the most’

No doubt the anthem was a terrible rendition and any Bok could feel justifiably blighted. However, I agree, it’s really no excuse for their performance, and perhaps it could be argued it should have spurred them to greater things. It’s a poor excuse for a poor performance and yes, get over it.

No you don’t. Get your facts straight.

This is the most ridiculous story that has been over-hyped by everyone and has managed to distract from the fact that the Boks were soundly beaten by France. Looking for scapegoats in Rastafarian singers who cannot sing in tune is just laughable.

I have heard anthems being butchered many times before. Get over it. It happens.

It was a disgrace! The worst I’ve ever seen someone sing – he even beat the clowns at Idol shows. As a Bok i was really punched in the guts watching that.
