He's now saying the assistant coaches have let the side down and that players are lacking essential attention to detail. Dwyer's always been of the view that since Deans was such a great coach for Canterbury, and they had all the skills, that it must be the assistent coaches. He then noted Ireland's backline play in the last 20 minutes was much more potent, and therefore we have the Aussie backline coach of Ireland. Mark Ella has suggested Deans knows what he's doing, but the players aren't soaking it in for some reason. That might be true. It doesn't quite make sense that such a well acredited coach such as Robbie Deans could be so unsuccessful. Tim Horan saying Australia are on track for the World Cup is a joke.
