Ponting says Clarke criticism is harsh

Australian skipper Ricky Ponting has defended Michael Clarke, saying it is “a bit harsh” a fan survey branded the vice-captain as the nation’s most over-rated player.
Clarke topped the category in a News Limited survey released on Wednesday on 14 per cent ahead of Shane Watson (11 per cent) and Shaun Tait (10 per cent).
