Titans offer Bird an NRL deal

A week ago Gold Coast chief executive Michael Searle gave the Titans no hope of signing representative star Greg Bird. In fact, Searle suggested the club had only been linked to the sacked Cronulla star to throw the media off the scent.

    If the Titans can get Bird for the amount of money they are apparently offering him, it will be an absolute coup for the club on the field.
    I hope the fans will give him a chance to prove himself off the field.

    The Titans would do better to put their energies, focus and money into buying some muscle power up front.
    Bird can play 6 but he is essentially a 13 and the Titans are strong in both positions. In a nutshell, unless they sack Ashley Harrison, they dont need him.

    Think your on the wrong page Springs, :)

    Lets not be so hasty, Bird is back, being given another chance, good.
    Gas might be back for the Dragons, hope so.
    And to top it all off, if the Dogs can forgive him, lets bring Sonny Bill home, home to the family, lets be honest, we will forgive him also. :) Thats what family is for.
