All Blacks with points to prove in tour finale

All the focus might be on the Barbarians stars and Richie McCaw, but a fair few All Blacks will be quelling Test match-like nerves as they run onto Twickenham for Saturday’s tour finale.
At least half the All Blacks side have points to prove at the end of what the coaches dubbed a six-week “selection tour”.

I think you’ll find the wallabies won that baa baas game mate. Unless you mean that the baa baas lost when you say “they ran the walabies”. In that case I misunderstood

Might be time to break out the dictionary adam…ha ha (unless its supposed to be enigma speak).

Yes Mallet – the training was a shambles – its really hard to get a fully loaded, talent bulging team to “learn” the basics.

McCaw, Jane, Guilford, Messam, Sooialo, Leonard, McAllister, Afoa – there is some good talent in the AB team – but sheesh… that Barbarians team is pretty damn good on paper.

Still, I would have preferred Henry fielding a stronger bench with more first picks.

Sure Henry needs to see how much powder he has in the keg for next year – I just think its a bit disrespectful to rugby not to have a stronger player presence here…and risk a loss

If the ABs lose this non-test – there will be more uproar about loss of mojo, end of the black aura, etc. Obviously, its ok for some teams to lose against provincial sides, ahem… without mentioning the Boks… but I think that a loss here would be a historic blot for years to come.

Though the ABs should take this one – there is a lot of hunger in the new blood, by no ,means are they going to be pedestrian.
