Caught in a crossfire between ex-player Charlie Miller and former coach Frank Farina, Brisbane Roar mentor Ange Postecoglou came out with guns blazing on Friday ahead of a season-defining week.

    Good on ya Ang, I think you’re spot on. As gifted as Miller is, he is a) unfit and overweight b) injury prone c) bit of a d***head.
    Completely lost respect this man after the job he did on Kruise a few weeks ago.

    Miller is a better player than a lot of the dross Scotland turn out these days. Sadly the standard of the game in Scotland has really gone down of late, they just don’t produce players with technique like that, like they did for generations.

    It also shows how stupid the tendency of Australian fans to buy into simplistic stereotypes is. Everything here seems to be cliche and stereotype about nationality and player’s abilities. We are too shallow and simplistic here, and this doesn’t help our game.

    Dave V, well said and i do agree. Can anyone please tell me what the issue with Kruise was (i know Miller hit him but why)?
