Tony,
I'll let you and the Gold Coast in on a little secret.
Lavicka's tactics for winning the game on Sunday and keep top spot, are for his team to score more goals than Gold Coast.

Great stuff Tony,
I want to read more of this type of article ......rather than the tired old Crowds and WC selection postings that get rebadged and recycled every other day.

Mr..
Unfortunately I did not have a good view of it as I was at the opposite end of the field I saw something that was close but I could not make out what actually happen... He is certainly going to be included for the final run home in the finals---he has pedigree written all over him and has slotted into the position amazingly well...

Tony I have to agree this match, and the final matchday SFC V MVFC will be the matches to decide the ACL spots.

Tony,
yes you are right this is a mouth watering blockbuster, a game for the purists.... Sydney will be fresher, and playing at home that will be on Miron/Paul minds after playing on Wednesday night and so I see Pantelidis coming into the side to partner Twaite in the back four with Anderson and Dino Djulbic making that spot his own after last Wednesday, still a toss up tho as they may put Fitzsimmons in for some fresh legs... And the two sweepers as usual behind them in Rees and Van Brink...

The little magicians, Culina and Caravella will again be hard to stop... However, don’t expect GCUFC to run at SFC they will conserve their energy and hit them on the counter... Culina was brought off last Wednesday night early, so one can now assume they did it to save some petrol for this clash..

GCU FC will do well, very well, to win this one, I don’t really expect that to happen and it will be a great result it they hold on for a draw.. I can’t see too many goals in this game and if there is I would expect it could be a 1-1 draw...

PS... I am a SFC and GCU supporter...

GCUFC lack of pace at the back...? You can't be serious... ? I would have thought Melb Vic's Kevin MUSCAT and Rodrigo VARGAS are far slower than Bas VAN DEN BRINK, and Kristian REES... I wouldn't swap our lads for yours :)

I think Gold Coast have a bigger problem, thats the lack of pace at the back, a number of times this season wide players and quick strikers have destroyed Gold Coast, Van den Brink and Rees are slower at turning than the queen Mary, Anderson is quick but he is a fill in, while Thwaite is better suited to a defensive midfield position. The best defence usually wins the league and while Cole is rubbish, the defensive unit is very solid and covers for his inability to defend properly. I except Gold Coast to throw everything at Sydney this week, but if they concede an early goal Gold Coast have an ability to get belted. Im hoping for a draw for Melbourne's sake.
