Interesting to see how this treatment progresses. It seems to have many benefits and, at this stage, little negatives.

It ended his rugby career but he is with the Storm in the squad in 09..i think he did his knee or ankle early last year so missed the season

Ben MacDougall of Melbourne Storm had the operation in March ’08. Sadly, it became seriously infected ending his season and as far as I know his career.

I just hope it all works out for David – he was one of the last AFL players I thought this would happen to! – so low down and chunky.
