Mariners clash with Jets postponed due to heavy rain

Saturday night’s A-League match between Central Coast Mariners and Newcastle Jets at Bluetongue Stadium was postponed due to heavy rain, the second such delay for the Jets in as many weeks.

FFA officials have met with representatives from both clubs, the host broadcaster and the venue and agreed that the pitch was not suitable for play.

The clash will now be held at 7.30pm on Monday at Bluetongue Stadium.
