Bulls beat Cheetahs 51-34 in Super 14

The defending champion Bulls opened their Super 14 title defence by scoring a bonus point in a 51-34 win over the Cheetahs on Friday.
The Bulls scored tries through Jaco Pretorius, Morne Steyn, Gerhard van den Heever, Zane Kirchner and Wynand Olivier and also awarded a penalty try at Vodacom Park.
Springbok flyhalf Morne Steyn scored 24 points with a try, five conversions and three penalties.
The Cheetahs replied with three tries to miss out on a bonus point.

Game of the week thus far, except for Kaplan’s policing of the scrums where Steenkamp was clearly boring in and standing up.
