I was prepared to give Mrja a go for a while, he was getting back from injury, unable to hit the side of a barn etc. Now he just proves he is an idiot and wastes Merrick’s spot in the team. Ernie must be ready to tear strips off him, but really has noone to blame but himself.

Does the committee have the power to extend a ban if its time is wasted by spurious appeals?
MV seem to have a blanket policy of appealing every charge.
