Excuse me Jimbo what was dissapointing about round one? What do people want? rugby League gets bagged out, run down and made to feel inferior. Look it is time for people to realise League actually is on the rise. the AFL is very clever in its attempts to make its product OUT THERE. The Kevin sheedy GWS Appointment is very clever. Kevin Sheedy probably wont even coach the team (there is speculation in AFL circles). I think this is where League needs to be proactive and gets is productive OUT THERE too. But, hey lets give it a chance. Look if you dont like League thats okay, but dont kick it and make out that there arent a lot of people who do. Its a free world. Please allow League to get on and expand. AFL are doing that and hey thats great. People will make up there own mind. I am actually a person who prefers AFL to NRL. But, I am a Souths person from way back and i cant wait for the day when they come good it will be the best thing for League. In the meantime League is trying its best to recover from the Super League years and other feelings of insecurity i think it may have. But, it is a good product that deserves a chance and deserves to do well. Stop bagging it out and making accusations that it isnt any good Please. enough of the code wars as far as the fans go anyways. So if you like AFL thats great , same if you are a NRL supporter.

I'll take your smugness Mr McKay, and remind you it is a long long season...

If you feel comfortable putting anything on the Broncos....I don't know what to say to you, other than you should perhaps seek urgent psychiatric attention. It may come as no surprise to hear that I can refer you to some good shrinks!

Not content with the overhype about the opening round and obviously trying to make up for the disappointing opening round last weekend, the Daily Rugby League Telegraph has 18 pages on rugby league today, including the full page back page about Ben Hannant being home sick.

Ah, Sportsfan....

It's a special kind of smugness I bring to today's comments section for your weekly pre-round "review", the kind that only come with beating someone at their own game using their tips against them.

Join in if you know the words, pal:

Four-three, four-three, four-three, four-three, four-three, four-three, four-threeeeeeeeeeee...

I've also decided that I'm going to use my PP against your biggest predicted margin each week, so this week it's all on the Broncs ;-)
