Even though we still have another three Tests to go in the 2010/11 Ashes series, you can be certain that there will be mass changes to the Australian side by the time the Ashes will be fought out again in England 2013.

The question is, who will be in the Australian side by the time the Australian tour of England squad is announced?

You can be certain that players like Ricky Ponting, Simon Katich, Mike Hussey, Marcus North and Mitchell Johnson would have either retired or have paid the price with the selectors for their poor showing in the recent Tests and the Ashes.

When the time comes to choosing a squad to regain (or retain, in the unlikely case that Australia comes back from 1-0 down in the current series) the Ashes in England, a likely 2013 Australian tour of England squad is:

1. M. Clarke (c)
2. S. Watson (vc)
3. P. Hughes
4. U. Khawaja
5. S. Marsh
6. N. Maddison
7. L. Feldman
8. M. Wade
9. T. Paine
10. S. O’Keefe
11. S. Smith
12. P. Siddle
13. T. Copeland
14. P. George
15. J. Hazelwood
16. D. Bollinger
17. M. Starc

There will also be changes off the field as well. Out would go coach Tim Nielsen and in comes a new coaching panel consisting of the following:

Head coach: Ric Charlesworth
Assistant coach: Steve Rixon
Batting coach: Barry Richards
Bowling coach (fast): Dennis Lillee
Bowling coach (spin): Shane Warne
Fielding coach: Jonty Rhodes

Who do you think would make the 2013 Australian tour of England – regardless of the outcome of the current Ashes series?
