Tony Williams seven weeks? I had to clean out my ears, go to the optometrist, and check that everything was functioning correctly.

I am the first to admit that the tackle looked bad but as Paul Gallen said there was no malice involved and it just went wrong.

This brings me onto what is obviously a disjointed and out of touch judiciary. Let us look at Frank Pritchard. Pritchard is a known thug who has had more bad hits than Nickleback, he went into that ‘shoulder charge’ with intent and ended up hurting David Simmons and yet he got two weeks.

That was reckless, full of malice and Pritchard got two weeks, he should have got eight weeks for that hit.

Robbie Farah had a tackle go wrong and what happened? He got two weeks but low and behold poor old Tony Williams had a tackle go wrong and got seven weeks! As they said in ‘The Castle’ Tell ‘em they’re dreamin’!

This is to me and may others is an outrage and clear indication that the Independent Commission has to make changes to this system and I suggest they should start by rubbing out thugs like Frank Pritchard.
