Hawthorn have an opportunity to build on their already-strong percentage as they host the GWS Giants. We’ll have live scores from 1.10pm AEST.

The Hawks are firming as one of the more serious premiership threats, and their percentage backs up their credentials.

Only Sydney and West Coast are better in this area.

Last week, the Hawks went up against a Carlton side that needed to turnaround its season. The final result was a 50-point win.

Lance Franklin had 23 touches to go with his four goals. Jarryd Roughead had three goals.

The team is currently sixth on the ladder, with nine wins and four losses.

For GWS, the young side have entered something of a form slump. The last two weeks they’ve suffered big losses.

In the Sydney derby last Saturday night, the Giants were 94-point losers. Injuries to Luke Power and Dylan Shiel rubbed salt into the wounds.

Toby Greene was impressive however with 31 touches, while the experienced heads of Callan Ward and Rhys Palmer also stood out.

The Giants lose Shiel, Power and Tom Scully this week, while Brent Guerra and Shaun Burgoyne are the two outs for the Hawks.
