Adam Scott will get his chance at Major glory tonight as the Australian takes a commanding four shot lead into the final round of the 2012 British Open Championship. Join us from 11:30pm as we bring you live updates and we call his play across the final round.

The Open Championship from the Royal Lytham and St Annes Golf Club in the North West of England looks like it’s Scott’s to lose, but Tiger Woods is chasing him five shots back.

Scott’s other challengers for tonight’s final round will come in the way of Northern Ireland’s-Graeme McDowell & Brandt Snedeker who was leading after 2 rounds. Both sit four shots back.

While Scott is seeking his first major championship win, it will also be a big victory for the whole of Australia if he wins.

Our last major victory was at the 2006 US Open where Geoff Ogilvy won at Winged Foot, while the last Australian to win the Open Championship (or British Open) was Greg Norman all the way back in 1993.

Join us from 11.30pm AEST (2.30pm UK) for live a live blog and updates from the final round of the 2012 Open Championship.
