The Gold Coast Suns are still hunting their first home win as the ladder-leading Sydney Swans come to town. We’ll have live scores from 7.40pm AEST.

Needless to say, it’d be quite the upset if the Suns were to get up tonight.

However, they’ll be hoping for a competitive effort after arguably their best fortnight of the season the past two weeks. The club has just one win for the season but is ahead of the GWS Giants on percentage.

Sydney, meanwhile, will be looking to extend their lead at the top of the ladder and extend their massive 147 percentage even further.

Gold Coast last week had the Q-Clash against the Brisbane Lions and went down by 11 points. They were up by one point with as little as three minutes remaining.

Gary Ablett had 37 disposals, nine clearances, eight tackles and a goal. Dion Prestia was next best with 26 touches and eight clearances. There were no multiple goal kickers.

For the Swans, last week they fended off St Kilda at home in a tough 29-point win.

Josh Kennedy saw the most of it with 35 touches and nine clearances. Jarrad McVeigh and Ryan O’Keefe were also among the best.

The game was another tick for the club’s impressive defence. Only three teams have scored more than 85 points against the Swans, and those were the Swans’ only three losses.

Each team has a big out in Michael Rischitelli for the Suns and Shane Mumford for the Swans.
