Adelaide United need three points to keep their hold on second spot when they host Perth Glory tonight. We’ll have live scores from 7.30pm AEDT.

Perth Glory remain well-placed in fifth position, but two points from a possible nine in their last three outings is not form that will lead Ian Ferguson’s side toward an A-League title push.

They looked like picking up all three points when they led late into last round’s home clash with Sydney, but once again managed to throw away a lead against the Sky Blues and had to settle for a point.

A similiar concern might also be beginning to develop at Adelaide. They haven’t quite recovered from that 6-1 shellacking prior to Christmas, and they were uninspired in last weekend’s stalemate at Newcastle.

Both sides line up tonight with near full-strength teams. John Kosmina will be without Nigel Boogaard and Fabio Ferreira for the Reds, while Perth will once again miss Michael Thwaite through injury, though his partner in crime Bas van den Brink will return from suspension.

The key to this one could be the individual battle between Dario Vidosic and Jacob Burns. The Adelaide number 10 has been crucial to the Reds’ success this season and if gets on top of Burns the home faithful could very well be celebrating a win tonight.
