Finally, after three weeks of racing and 21 stages from the south of Italy to the north, the 2013 Giro d’Italia wraps up tonight after 200km ride in Brescia. We’ll hav live updates from 11.00pm AEST.

Vicenzo Nibali has the Maglia Rosa all wrapped up with a four minute, 43 second lead over Rigoberto Uran and Australia’s Cadel Evans is now in third, after suffering a mechanical in the final kilometres of yesterday’s blizzard like finish.

Evans is five minutes and 52 seconds behind Nibali.

Should Evans finish on the podium, and we all hope he does, he will be the first Australian to podium at all three Grand Tours.

Nibali just needs to stay upright to the end.

Mark Cavendish will wear red again today but he is not leading the points classification. Nibali sits on 128 points whilst the Manx Missile is in second on 117 points.

Cavendish will be favourite to wins today’s flat stage in what should be a bunch sprint to the end. Canondale’s Elia Viviani will want to be hot on his heels, especially as he is from this part of Italy and will want to race well in front of his home crowd.

The Italian had a promising start to the Giro but has perhaps not performed to his expectations.

Stefano Pirazzi should go home in blue in the KOM competition and Carlos Betancur should retain white over Saxo’s Rafal Mjka, although that margin is only 41 seconds to the Colombian.

Join me tonight from 11.00pm AEST for the final stage of the Giro d’Italia.
