Just like every year in the NFL, we have a huge range of win-loss records among every team after just four weeks.

Some teams being undefeated, while others are yet to achieve one victory.

Usually after a long game win or loss streak, teams are due to have a reversal of fortune.

This year’s 0-4 teams can get just the amount of luck to win their first game as well as the 4-0 teams finally slowing down their momentum and handed their first loss.

There are only two teams that stand out above (or below) the rest: the Denver Broncos (4-0) and the Jacksonville Jaguars (0-4).

Realistically, it is extremely tough to finish a full season without a loss.

At this point in the season, Denver finds itself atop the NFL at 4-0 with four other teams – the Chiefs, Seahawks, Saints and Patriots.

Those four teams are elite, however they have been achieving nowhere near what the Broncos have put together approaching Week 5.

An argument can easily be made that Denver has given up the most points out of all the undefeated teams so far.

The Broncos only need two words to counter-argue everyone else: Peyton Manning.

Manning is no stranger to breaking NFL records in the past, as he is on pace to absolutely shatter the record for most touchdown passes in a single season.

With arguably the best quarterback to step foot on a football field, Denver has put up 179 points over their first four games.

That is coming within just a field goal of doubling their points against (91).

If that isn’t impressive enough, the Broncos have been winning games on an average of 22 points.

Let’s say you’re really hard to impress, well how about this one: the Broncos haven’t trailed entering the fourth quarter once so far.

Can anyone guess whose stats closely compare to the 2013 Denver Broncos?

That’s right, the undefeated 2007 New England Patriots.

Best part about hearing such news is probably that those pesky New York Giants are 0-4 and don’t seem like a playoff hopeful this year.

With such successful teams like the Denver Broncos, there are such unsuccessful teams as well.

That team being the Jacksonville Jaguars. This team is just overwhelming. For starters, they literally have a need at every position on their team.

Even their newly created offensive weapon position, played by Denard Robinson, struggles immensely.

After four weeks, the Jaguars have passed for only one touchdown and ran for two more.

They’ve kicked three field goals and recorded a safety. Those combined 31 points over a four-game span is not only miserable, but also impressive.

Impressive in the sense that how could a team be so unproductive that they can’t even generate a touchdown in half their games.

Jacksonville ranks 30th in passing yards, 31st in rushing yards, and 3second in rushing yards allowed.

It is truly amazing that Blaine Gabbert starts in the NFL. The 2011 first round pick has a disgusting quarterback rating of 1.7.

He is yet to throw a touchdown this season and it wouldn’t come as a surprise if he doesn’t at all.

It looks like their only shot at a win this season is away against the St. Louis Rams next week but that would still be a sad struggle for them.

If they don’t come out victorious in Week 5, they can already be written off as 0-16 considering they play only one more team under .500 for the rest of the season.

The good news is that they will be written down in the history.

The worst news is that it’ll be because they are statistically the worst team to ever play a full NFL season.

Even the winless 2008 Detroit Lions (only winless team in NFL history) have put up more points through their first four weeks against tougher opponents.

They have also scored at least one touchdown a game, which says a lot for these Jaguars.

Their confusion should really come from whether they take South Carolina’s Jadeveon Clowney with the first pick in the 2014 draft or take a shot at a new quarterback for their future.
