The Manly Sea Eagles and Melbourne Storm clash in a blockbuster Round 1 match-up that should see both teams play with finals-like intensity. Join us for live scores and commentary from 7.00pm AEDT.

We may be 26 rounds away from the finals but it’s safe to assume both Manly and Melbourne will remain thereabouts come September.

Tonight’s contest presents two of the most physical and entertaining sides in the NRL battling it out for early bragging rights this season.

The Sea Eagles and Storm have produced some memorable contests over the past few seasons and tonight’s match should be no different.

Melbourne will be keen to show they remain a genuine premiership threat, and a victory against Manly at Brookvale will go a long way to proving they are indeed a force to be reckoned with.

The Sea Eagles meanwhile are desperate to get over their grand final loss to the Roosters last season and a win against the Storm tonight will help them develop the early season confidence and form needed to make a strong charge toward the premiership.

With superstars Billy Slater, Cameron Smith, Cooper Cronk, Brett Stewart, Daly Cherry-Evans, Jamie Lyon and Kieran Foran on show, tonight’s contest promises to be a cracker.

At fortress Brookvale though, it is hard not to tip the Sea Eagles to prevail in an quality contest.
