Tonight Guizhou Renhe will host reigning A-League premiership winners the Western Sydney Wanderers at the Olympic Stadium in Guiyang. Join The Roar for live scores and coverage from 11:00pm AEDT.

Western Sydney will be looking to snap a three game losing streak when they face up against Guizhou Renhe tonight.

Their shift in form will need to be significant if they are going to be able to shake off a pair of recent 3-1 results against Sydney FC and Ulsan Hyundai.

But despite entering this match as the underdog, the Wanderers should draw confidence from the Mariners’ unexpected victory against J-League giants, Hiroshima, last night.

Although the Wanderers have the added disadvantage of travel to contend with, last night displayed how results can be unpredictable in this type of competition.

Guizhau will be looking to get off Asian Champions League campaign rolling after a narrow 1-0 loss to Kawasaki in match-day one.

In team news, all eyes will be on Tony Popovic’s well publicised rotation policy – the coach changing his players more often than the suits he wears on the touchline.

He also has to weigh up the upcoming visit of the resurgent Adelaide United at Pirtek on Saturday night.

Guizhau for their part will be relying on home grown players as they will be missing the Chinese Super League’s answer to the Zlatan Ibrahimovic – the ironically named Zlatan Muslimovic, along with fellow scrabble superstar Zvjezdan Misimovic who were forced to withdraw at half-time of Guizhau’s opening CSL match.

Join me at 11:00pm AEDT for what could prove to be an intriguing contest between two teams desperate to start moving their ACL campaign in the right direction.
