Sportswriters Brett McKay and Ryan O’Connell are sacking the production staff in Episode 32 of the Cheap Seats podcast (not Ep31, as was tweeted this week. Plebs!).

In this episode, Brett is still on a radio high after making his rugby commentary debut on the weekend, while Ryan still has indigestion from partaking in the full American menu on offer at the baseball.

Episode 32 talking points:
– Another packed edition of #AskTheCheapSeats to kick us off;
– NRL, and a full review of everything coming out of the shocking tackle that has left Newcastle player Alex McKinnon with a broken neck, disbelief at Jarryd Hayne escaping sanction for labelling the refereeing on the weekend ‘disgraceful’, and a look ahead to this weekend’s NRL action;
– The overdue return of Australian rugby’s third tier, the new National Rugby Championship, and a test coming up for the Waratahs;
– The now famous token wraps of AFL, the A-League, and the T20 World Cup;
– And the equally famous Worst Case Scenarios for this week.
