The West Coast Eagles host the St Kilda Saints at Patersons Stadium on Saturday afternoon, with both teams looking to remain undefeated in 2014. Join The Roar for live scores from 7:40pm (AEDT).

Despite both teams sitting on equal points entering this match, the Eagles are heavily favoured, coming off dominant wins in their first two rounds.

Unsurprisingly, coming off victories against the Demons and the Giants is not enough to give punters any faith in the Saints’ ability to challenge in Perth.

Now the Eagles may sit atop the AFL ladder after sizeable wins in their first two outings, but they were only required to face off against underwhelming opponents in the Bulldogs and the Demons.

It has to be noted that neither team is yet to come up against a quality opponent this season.

Unfortunately for the Saints, it is highly likely these same words will be written in previews for West Coast’s Round 4 match.

At home, the Eagles ability to hit the scoreboard will prove to be too much for the Saints. The Eagles lead the league in scoring coming into the round having sent home 39 majors so far this season.

To add to the Saints’ concerns, the Eagles ruck combination will also cause them issues. The Eagles have shown how damaging they can be when they get first hands on the ball and there is no reason to doubt they won’t dominate this domain today.
