Friday’s Anzac Day match up sees the New Zealand Warriors travel across the Tasman for their clash with the Melbourne Storm at AAMI Park.

The two sides met twice last season with the Storm winning last year’s corresponding Anzac Day match 28-18, before the Warriors surprised the Storm in their second meeting, recording an upset 30-22 victory.

The Storm haven’t looked like the side that has led the competition in years past, with losses from their last five matches seeing them drop out of the top eight.

The Warriors were tipped for big success this season but they’ve had a terrible start to year registering only two wins to start the season.

The inconsistent Shaun Johnson has shown glimpses of his talent this year but will need to produce a full 80-minute performance to lift his side today.

For the Storm, Billy Slater looks to be returning to his best and his duel with Sam Tomkins will be one of the highlights of this match.

Join The Roar for live scores of the Storm vs Warriors clash today from 6:00pm (AEST).
