Reigning champions Toulon beat Saracens 23-6 to win the 2014 European Cup rugby final at Cardiff’s Millennium Stadium on Saturday.

England great Jonny Wilkinson, the captain of Toulon, kicked 13 points in his final match in Britain before retirement, with Australia’s Matt Giteau and South Africa’s Juan Smith scoring the French club’s two tries.

English Premiership side Saracens’ points came courtesy of two penalties from Owen Farrell — Wilkinson’s current successor as England fly-half.
