In the wake of NSW victory, after the celebrations have subsided NSW will need to refocus for Game 3, a game that raises many questions for both teams.

Could it be Paul Gallen’s swan song? The inspirational prop has battled hard through Origin and over the last two years he has missed many games for the Sharks during and after Origin.

With the Sharks entering their darkest days and having finally scaled the Origin mountain, will Gal shift his focus to his club in his twilight years?

Will the Maroons invest in the future and blood new talent? With Billy Slater and Greg Inglis battling injury and Brent Tate out, there is the opportunity to introduce new players.

Will Queensland take this chance, or will the golden generation turn out in force to reassert themselves as Origin heavyweights?

Will Daly Cherry-Evans prove himself as a future first-choice Queensland halfback? After two losing performances at 7, those who were screaming for him to replace Cooper Cronk are suddenly silent.

Game 3 will be a strong indicator of who wins the Queensland 7 shirt in 2015.

Finally, will Game 3 see the return of the Origin biff, with the series no longer on the line? One thing that is certain is that there is no such thing as a dead rubber in State of Origin.
