The Broncos took a strong stretch of form to New Zealand, but lost it along the way going down 19-10 against the warriors. They will be hoping a home crowd boost will be all it takes to return to the winners list.
The last time these two sides met was at Suncorp in Round 18 last season. In that match the Sharks secured an impressive 18 to 19 victory in Todd Carney’s 150th match.
The Broncos have suffered a blow this week with Matt Gillet sidelined with a shoulder injury, but if they go about their business as they have done in recent weeks, they should return to the winners list in Round 16 as their opponents are in all sorts.
The Sharks enter this match off the back of a five match losing streak, and on top of that have failed to score a single point for three games, conceding 74 points in the process.
A couple of byes thrown into the mix means the Shark’s dry stretch has lasted over a month – the last time they scored becoming somewhat of a distant memory.
Adding to their on-field woes, the Sharks have taken a hit in press this week after captain, Paul Gallen called for a new coach to replace Peter Sharp for the rest of the season.

With everything against them, the Sharks only hope is that they can summon something special for this match.
