MATCH PREVIEW:

The Manly Sea Eagles return to Brookvale tonight to take on a Wests Tigers side desperate to keep in touch with the top eight. Join The Roar for live scores and commentary from 7:30pm AEST.

With both sides coming off disappointing last-start losses, this match is sure to be hotly contested.

The master that is Des Hasler taught his former apprentice Geoff Toovey a coaching lesson last Friday, so you can expect the Manly coach will be looking to make a statement at home tonight.

Daly Cherry-Evans is earmarked to return for the Eagles, replacing Jack Littlejohn in the number 7 jersey.

Manly looked directionless in attack against the Bulldogs last week, and DCE’s inclusion in the starting side will be welcomed by coach Toovey.

Noted finisher Jorge Taufua also replaces the Clinton Gutherson on the wing.

NSW forwards Aaron Woods and Robbie Farah have both been named to back up after Origin 3, while the injured Braith Anasta makes way for Blake Austin to partner Luke Brooks in the halves.

Dene Halatau will play his 200th first-grade game.

Despite Manly having gone down as heavy favourites at ANZ stadium last week, they are a different beast when playing in their own backyard.

Having won their last six games at Brookvale, the Eagles should be confident of making it seven-straight home wins against the Tigers.

Both sides look evenly matched in the middle third, but Manly’s class, experience and strike out wide should be enough to see them home – but not as easily as some may think.

Manly by 8.

Can Toovey’s men make it seven straight at Brooky, or will Mick Potter’s Tigers be roaring loud and proud at the final whistle?
