The North Melbourne Kangaroos host the St Kilda Saints at Bellerive Oval in Hobart on Saturday afternoon. Join The Roar for lives scores from 2:10pm (AEST).

North Melbourne travel to Tasmania flying high off the back of a very impressive win against the Hawks on Friday night last round.

Coming off a loss against the lowly Lions in Round 15, the Kangaroos bounced back in stunning fashion, getting an early jump on Hawthorn and going on to record a comfortable 20-point win.

The win maintained North Melbourne’s position inside the top eight and saw them come into light as a true dark horse in the 2014 premiership race.

Considering they have now beaten all of the competitions top four this season, the Kangaroos are certainly well poised to make some waves in September, so long as they can keep their inconsistencies in check for the remainder of the season.

Since Round 5, the Roos have only managed to string two wins together once. Today offers the perfect opportunity for them to back up a strong win with a percentage booster and begin to build some real momentum.

The Saints enter this match off the back of a 10-match losing streak – a streak that looks set to continue today, and unfortunately for Saints fans doesn’t appear likely to break anytime soon.

In team news, Liam Anthony has been omitted from the Kangaroos side that defeated the Hawks – he is replaced by Aaron Mullett, who had 31 touches the last time these two sides met.

St Kilda bring in some strong experience as Sam Fisher and club-favourite Lenny Hayes enter the side. They are joined by Tom Hickey and Tom Curren to replace a string of omissions.

With Adelaide and Essendon nipping at the heels of the top eight, the Kangaroos will be determined to secure a strong victory today, and they should do so convincingly.
