Former Kiwi international Krisnan Inu has been released by NRL club Canterbury to sign with French rugby union.
Paris-based Top 14 club Stade Francis on Thursday announced the 27-year-old had been signed as an injury replacement.
Inu, who has previously had stints with Parramatta and the Warriors, has been inconsistent this season and has played just seven NRL games.
Despite having signed with the Bulldogs until next year, he has been granted a release by the club.
